Four Continents Ski Pass Launched
The Leading Mountain Resorts of the World Group has announced that season pass holders from each of its four resorts on four continents will be able to purchase lift tickets at a 50% saving at another group member resort.
The Leading Mountain Resorts of the World are an alliance of two northern and two southern hemisphere ski companies, created in 1999 in Val Gardena, Italy – which is the sole European member of the group. The others are Vail Resorts in North America, Bariloche resort in Argentina, South America and Queenstown in New Zealand.
The season pass scheme has been named the “Endless Winter Global Ski Experience” and is being promoted as, “the world’s first truly global inter-mountain discount programme.” It allows you to ski 10 out of 12 months of the year at any one of the four regions.
The qualifying passes, the exchange procedure and the ski areas covered are subject to terms and conditions so skiers planning to take up the offer would be wise to complete the pre-registration form on the group’s site and check the full details there.
