Elan Ibex Tactix Carbon ION 12 2018/2019
Traditional ski equipment poses many limitations for easy transportation during adventures in the mountains across snow, rocks and other mixed terrain. In order to improve the mobility and transport of skis, Elan created a foldable ski with high-end ski performance and zero limitations of movement. It easily attaches to a pack quickly and securely. To achieve this design feat, Elan took the Ibex skis, cut them in half and connected them with a revolutionary folding mechanism that is built on a fixed aluminum plate that rotates 180 degrees and dissembles a 163 cm length ski to a 90 cm length ski in less than 20 seconds for easy transport. Furthermore, the performance of the plate makes the skis easier and more reliable to ski.
