Built to be light on the way up and strong on the way down, the new R 98 is our all-access free-touring model with freeride at its core.
The R 98 takes a lot of its design features from its bigger brother including minimal camber and tip rocker for ease of turning, a medium flex pattern and a longer turn radius for stability in the changeable backcountry snow conditions.
The revised, lighter weight aluminium tail allows the ski to be cut deep into the snowpack to create a solid anchor point as well being a secure skin attachment.
