Rossignol Pursuit HP Ti 2013/2014
Rossignol has some experience building nice mainstream skis on this category from the Classic series to the Avengers and now the Pursuit. The HP Ti is the flagship of the series and a very smooth skiing ski. I will say the smoothness comes at the cost of feel. Personally, when I get on a ski in this category, I want a bit more pop.This is another ski that has "marketing rocker". Yes, rocker is a popular term and "technology", it doesn't mean you have to say every ski has it and when it you can barely slide a piece of paper between the tips. The Pursuit did absolutely nothing wrong, in fact it did everything very well but with no flavor. If Lexus made skis, this is what they would be, smooth, refined but flavorless. If you like the utmost in predictability, this is a great option of a ski. I will add it is time for Rossi to put the current and long in tooth binding system out to pasture, it is heavy, cumbersome and inefficient.
